Summary:

As a Learning & Development Intern, you will join our team to gain hands-on experience in the skills required of L&D professionals. You will assist with LMS administration, resource management, and course planning while supporting our mission to provide high-quality educational technology solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and update Global Resources within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Participate in “Skills” research, buildout, and deployment to the corporate office.
  • Assist with translation rules and administrative functions inside the LMS.
  • Support course development through end-user research and storyboarding.
  • Plan and prepare materials for Instructor-Led Training courses for Fall 2026.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in Learning Technology, Education, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of learning technology and L&D department functions.
  • General understanding of storyboarding and course development is preferred but not required.
  • Strong administrative skills to provide necessary support to the department.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to look at a computer monitor for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers for typing and detailed work using a mouse.
  • Ability to exert up to at least 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

Work Environment:

  • Office Environment
  • Working primarily in an office environment, 4 days a week in Office.
  • Performed in a traditional office environment with extended periods of sitting.
  • May require visits to nearby store locations or participation in off-site projects.
