Summary:

As an Integration Engineering Intern, you will get hands-on experience in our hardware lab, learning how to take professional-grade laptops delivered from the manufacturer to a fully optimized machine. You’ll work directly with senior engineers to master the rollout of Windows 11 and learn how large-scale tech teams deploy hardware at speed.

Essential Functions:

  • Help transition the fleet to Windows 11 by installing the OS, configuring security settings, and ensuring drivers are up to date.
  • Use professional deployment tools to "image" computers, automatically installing necessary apps and settings.
  • Run performance checks and quality assurance to ensure laptops are fast, stable, and ready for use.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues when a build is not working and identify fixes.
  • Partner with Support Engineers and Asset Managers to suggest improvements to internal asset management workflows.
  • Research and provide feedback to the team regarding process modernizations and efficiency improvements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Tech enthusiast with a passion for understanding how computer hardware works "under the hood".
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical guides precisely.
  • Curious learner excited to understand enterprise-level software deployment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using small tools and handling delicate electronic parts.
  • Ability to follow a technical guide precisely and double-check work for accuracy.

Physical Demands:

  • Must have the ability to use hands and fingers to handle delicate electronic parts and manage hardware.
  • List other physical demands, such as frequent lifting of computer equipment (e.g., up to 50 pounds).

Work Environment:

Primarily a hardware lab and office environment.
