| Summary: We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures while utilizing gained educational knowledge and experience. |
| Essential Functions:
- Assist in organizing company events.
- Update company databases by inputting new and current employee records.
- Screening resumes and application forms to identify prospective employees to fill company job vacancies
- Assist the HR staff in filling employment forms and gathering market salary information.
- Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
- Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
- Respond to the HR team, employee benefits, and other Human Resources related matters.
- Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)
- Learn about the company’s HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related duties to be able to respond to any internal staff inquiries.
- Assist in the team in remaining compliance with I-9 documents.
- Respond to the HR team, employee benefits, and other Human Resources related matters.
- Provide administrative support to HR business partners and managers.

| Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work in a strong team-oriented environment.
- Must have the ability to problem-solve and decipher when to escalate to management.
- Must be detail oriented.

| Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a degree for HR or any related field.
- Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar junior HR role is a plus
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and resume databases
- Experience with MS Office
- Good understanding of full cycle recruiting
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation
- Organizational skills
- BSC in Human Resources Management or similar field.

| Physical Demands:
- Must be able to look at computer monitors for 8 hours a day
- Must have the ability to use hands and fingers. Using them to type, manage copiers and/or printers.
- Must be able to exert up to at least 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

| Work Environment: This job is done in a traditional office environment. There will be extended periods of sitting. This job may require you to visit some of our nearby store locations. |
