Summary:

The Store Communications Lead is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of store communications ensuring consistency with department strategy, commitments, and goals. Manages and maintains responsibility for writing, reviewing, editing, and posting all store communications. Manages the review and approval process for each communication, assuring that accurate changes are made, and the proper process, policy and procedure is being communicated to the store group.  Possesses outstanding information-gathering skills, listens carefully, and can probe deeply for communication objectives. Is analytical by nature and has an eye for accuracy and detail. Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking, comfortable with last-minute changes, and high degree of on-the-job flexibility.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the internal departments that support stores to ensure that accurate and timely information is communicated to stores.
  • As needed, act as primary point of contact for stores to ensure that their questions are answered timely and in an accurate manner.
  • Assure that projects meet scheduled completion dates.
  • Manage and distribute status updates and task lists.
  • Manage timelines, submit communications, and proof revisions for all store communications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for store system projects accuracy and functionality.
  • Formally close-out all completed projects, including results and documentation on project successes and challenges.
  • Day-to-day administration of the store communication application including user integration issues, account management, end user support, and routine updates.
  • Create and maintain reporting for multiple levels of the Operations team and other corporate partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working for a retail company (store or corporate).
  • Familiarity with store communication software, Zebra Task Manager.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Independent thinker and good communicator.
  • Possess the ability to build trust and strong partnerships with others.
  • Innovative problem solver.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred. Education requirement may be mitigated with proven applicable experience.

Work Environment:

 Currently hybrid office environment; 3 days in the corporate office in Charlotte, NC
