Position Description:

The Web Production Manager oversees the planning, development, and delivery of web-based projects, ensuring high-quality digital content and seamless user experiences for the Rack Room Shoes company’s website(s). This role plays an integral part in lifecycle management, ensuring execution of web projects from creation to publication and sunsetting. This role combines project management, coordination with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and maintaining alignment with organizational goals and technical standards. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Project management: Coordinate projects with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of content updates, site enhancements and campaigns. 
• Production oversight: Work with our interactive designer to obtain digital assets for planning, scheduling, and publishing for website refreshes. 
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with developers, designers, content creators, and stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables. 
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control to ensure content is functional, responsive, and user-friendly across devices, which includes Lifecyle management of all content. 
• Compliance: Ensure web projects adhere to accessibility standards, data privacy regulations, and brand guidelines. 
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement workflows to streamline production processes and improve efficiency. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital, communications, computer science, or a related field. 
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in web project management, digital production, or a similar role. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Contentstack), DAM (e.g., Cloudinary), Testing tools (e.g., Dynamic Yield, Adobe test and target, Montetate) HTML/CSS, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Workfront). 
• Soft Skills: Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. 
• Preferred: Knowledge of SEO best practices, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe), and UX/UI principles. 

Work Environment 
Hybrid: office-based with 4 days in office and one remote day 
Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and collaboration across departments. 
Will incorporate flexibility due to involvement in frequent late-night launches during low-traffic hours to facilitate seamless content updates
