Treasury Analyst
Reports To: Treasury Manager
Department: Treasury/Banking
This position will have an active role in cash reviews, ad hoc reporting and monthly reporting and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of daily cash position report and record daily cash activity to general ledger
- Bank Reconciliations
- Reconcile store deposits daily and research any discrepancies
- Bank fee analysis and research of positive pay exceptions
- Manage all bank account opening/closing and changing of any authorized signatories.
- Interact with bank officials at various levels to request action and resolve issues
- Process cash transactions via wire transfer or ACH in accordance with company policy and process the associated accounting entry
- Create and update reports using Oracle Financials, Excel & database query tools.
- Work closely with other departments to identify fraud and theft
- Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed
- Assist in the monthly close
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum two year degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred
- Minimum of two years’ experience in cash management, accounting or financial analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office desired (emphasis on Excel)
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely & accurate fashion
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Experience in retail industry a plus
- Experience using Treasury software a plus
Physical Demands:
This position is primarily sedentary. Applicants, with or without accommodations, must be able to sit for extended periods, as well as occasionally stand and walk. The role requires reaching, grasping, and possessing fine motor skills for typing. Additionally, candidates should be able to lift light objects, such as files, bend or stoop to access lower drawers, and have good near vision for computer work.
Work Environment:
Office environment, Hybrid in office 4 days a week.
