The Human Resources Department is actively seeking to fill a Receptionist position. The primary job responsibility is to attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and in person. The preferred candidate will be detail oriented, will have excellent organizational and communication skills, and will be extremely adaptable/flexible as necessary, to function in a fast paced environment.
Job Functions:
- Enthusiastically greet guests who visit the office. Direct guests to the correct destination.
- Professionally answer telephone, screen and/or direct calls. Take and/or relay messages as required.
- Provide general information to callers and visitors.
- Perform basic administrative and clerical duties as requested.
- Maintain conference and vendor room scheduling.
- Maintain reception area and other areas accessible to office visitors.
Requirements:
- High School diploma.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word and Power Point).
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to effective organize and prioritize work.
- Experience in customer service is preferred. Experience in retail is a plus.
- Professional personal presentation is required.
- Punctuality and reliability are required.
