Job Title: Store Process & Technology Specialist

Accountability: Reports to Store Technology & Communications Manager

 

Summary: 

As part of the Store Operations Team, the Store Process & Technology Specialist is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and execution of store systems projects. Areas of focus will include, but are not limited to point of sale, fulfillment, mobile devices, and both internal and 3rd party software applications.  This individual will drive progress on each project including initial planning, requirement gathering, scope development, testing, and implementation.

 

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with internal departments and field personnel for project accuracy and functionality
  • Ensure projects meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manage timelines, submit requests, test and document store applications and updates
  • Act as project manager and subject matter expert for all related work
  • Shares responsibility with functional project leaders for increasing employee adoption and usage
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Store operations, retail and/or field knowledge
  • Experience with workforce and workload management software
  • Familiarity with store equipment such as POS, handhelds, and mobile printers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively execute work with strong prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management and store operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workflow management applications.
  • Knowledge of project management tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Independent thinker and good communicator
  • Possess the ability to build trust and strong partnerships with others

Education

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university. Education requirement may be mitigated with proven applicable experience.
