Job Title: LMS/e-Learning Administrator

Accountability: Report to Training Manager  

Summary:

The LMS/eLearning Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the LMS and the delivery of eLearning programs to company users.  The administrator will work closely with the department’s Instructional Designer to create and maintain an e-Learning environment that delivers accurate information and fosters success for our employees.  

Job Duties

  • Day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System including user integration issues, account management and end user support.
  • Create and manage Learning Plan assignments, course uploads, and online implementation of eLearning initiatives.
  • Review, revise, and maintain all updates needed for LMS and course content, to ensure accuracy within the LMS environment.
  • Create and maintain LMS reporting for multiple levels of the Operations team and other corporate partners.
  • Collaborate and work with system support resources to find solutions to system and end user issues. Duties will include but not limited to, research, testing and follow up to internal and 3rd party support tickets.
  • Communicates and provides information to the training team on new technologies, learning opportunities, changes in policies and practice, and available resources.
  • Actively participate and provide support in areas of research, development and implementation of departmental and company business strategies and projects.

Additional Job Duties

  • Assist the Instructional Designer with e-Learning projects including, but not limited to scope of work evaluation, content development, and eLearning project timelines.
  • Develop and create eLearning training products using rapid eLearning tools and other software as proficiencies increase.
  • Work with corporate and field personnel to evaluate current challenges and establish training needs.
  • Actively participate in the communication, development, and set up of instructor-led and virtual training initiatives hosted by the department.
  • Facilitation of eLearning, technical and operational content to adult learners both in-person and virtually.
  • Manage, maintain, and coordinate job fair kits for store hiring events.

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess strong passion for learning and helping others find solutions to everyday challenges.
  • Basic understanding of online learning, learning management tools and practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. This job will require technical writing for various projects and communication with all business levels.
  • Ability to analyze, ask detailed questions, and provide solutions to our end users, internal teams and 3rd party vendors.
  • Experience or aptitude for audio/video production, graphic and/or web design.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with HTML5, Articulate Software, and Adobe Premiere Pro preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ownership.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or other business-related events.

Education

  • The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Business, Technology, Education, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
