Assistant Retail Storage Room Supervisor

We are looking for two (2) Assistant Retail Storage Facility Managers to add to our team. This is a fast-paced position that needs to be immediately filled.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Tracks and logs all product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies or losses.
• Accepts and coordinate deliveries of stock and determines storage.
• At times inspects orders being received and shipped, checking for damage or other shipping issues.
• Coordinates store-to-store order processing and shipments.
• Monitors pick, pack and shipment accuracy with team members,
• Continuously adjust, improve or optimize storage, processing, packaging and shipping procedures
• Uses Point of Sale (POS) program to ship and receive product.
• Uses POS to print and apply FedEx shipping labels to fulfill shipments.
• Helps keeps warehouse area clean and organized.
• Reports to retail supervisor or management to alert them of any issues with shipping, processing or receiving.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Possesses strong organizational skills.
• Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders.
• Works well with others.
• Exhibits strong communication skills, essential for working with other employees.
• Demonstrates knowledge of computer systems or willing to be trained on these systems. Employee needs to be proficient on these systems in short order.
• Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.
• Demonstrates familiarity with warehouse safety precautions and is able to observe these at all times.

Experience

• Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred.

Work Environment

• Majority of typical 8-5 workday is spent in both office and on the retail space floor.  Our facility is climate controlled but loading/unloading trucks are not.
