eCommerce Marketplace Marketing Specialist

 

Role

 

As the eCommerce Marketplace Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing the results of advertising campaigns run on Amazon and making product page suggestions based on campaigns and product research. The key objectives of this position will be to increase conversion of current products through strategic implementation of keywords, bullets, title optimization, and more. You will also be responsible for creating suggested product listing keywords and titles for newly launching products which will be measured by the organic sales of those products. You will be able to work with external agencies as needed to scale analytic capabilities. You will also work with marketing to create material based on conversion rate research.

 

Responsibilities

  • Promotion implementation and tracking
  • Advertising impact reporting
  • ASIN profitability analysis, achieving goal ROI in key product categories
  • Product listing changes based on advertising research and analysis
  • New advertising platform launch and ability to expand from Amazon marketing and utilize results for other marketplaces such as eBay, Walmart, Kohls, etc
  • Ensures optimized content and key data for catalog are updated and provided to marketplace as required, includes listing management
  • Serve as lead in all marketing analytics inquiries and projects.

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years working within Seller/Vendor Central. Amazon listing and upload management, and case management.
  • 1+ year marketing and fluency in strategy, tactics, metrics, and best practices for marketing processes and technology.
  • 1+ year working with marketing automation, CRO, CMS, and AMB
  • 2+ years’ experience in SEO and/or paid media search
  • Recommended but not required – ideal candidate will have worked directly managing amazon advertising campaigns and/or has experience working with a paid managed service such as ChannelAdvisor, Commercehub, or similar.
  • First-hand understanding of the marketplace’s platforms including an in-depth understanding of the reporting and analytics data.
