Summary:

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and responsible professional to join our dynamic Loss Prevention team. In this position, you will collaborate with various departments throughout the organization to provide support to stores and work towards company goals. You will also gain experience relating to loss mitigation strategies along with internal and external theft investigations.

Essential Functions:

Will process background checks for prospective employees and work with the Director of Loss Prevention to resolve any flagged applicants in accordance with company policy and federal law.

  • Coordinate new and existing store alarm upgrades, installs and testing. Will review alarm company billing to ensure accuracy.
  • Will review video based on requests regarding cash over and shorts, customer and/or employee accidents, customer situations, etc.
  • Will review Store Loss Prevention Incident Reports for shoplifting situations. Will be responsible in documenting case evidence into Power Point presentations to be sent to police.
  • Maintain confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Must have strong organization skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in a strong team-oriented environment.
  • Must have the ability to problem-solve and decipher when to escalate to management.
  • Must be detail oriented.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Organizational and administrative skills to provide administrative support.
  • Must have high school diploma.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to look at computer monitors for 8 hours a day.
  • Must have the ability to use hands and fingers. Using them to type, manage copiers and/or printers.
  • Must be able to exert up to at least 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

Work Environment:

Currently hybrid office environment; minimum of 3 days in the corporate office in Charlotte, NC office.

This job is done in a traditional office environment. There will be extended periods of sitting. This job may require you to visit some of our nearby store locations.
