Job Title: Marketing Project Manager

Accountability: Reports to Director of Integrated Marketing

Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the creation and successful implementation of campaign activities via the WorkFront Project Management system. Responsibilities include scheduling and overseeing the complete execution of Marketing projects from start to finish to ensure handoff requirements are met accurately and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Monitor day-to-day Marketing team activities to ensure projects are progressing on schedule.
• Serve as the gate keeper, create schedules, allocate available resources, and shift workload as necessary via WorkFront.
• Monitor late tasks across all of marketing and adjust schedules as needed. Ensure flow of communication regarding projects status remains in Workfront and enforce compliance.
• Create campaign review schedules for cross-functional teams.
• Manage project requests from internal departments.
• Utilize WorkFront to build and implement project management efficiencies.

WorkFront Technical Responsibilities:

• Set up and onboard new Workfront users for new department hires.
• Maintain marketing user list & license assignments and work with IT when additional licenses are needed.
• Manage all incoming Workfront Help & Requests in a timely manner.
• Manage all incoming project/data requests- convert to projects or follow up with requester for additional information.
• Work with internal marketing teams to create new templates and update existing templates as needed for process development and changes.
• Analyze reporting to help maintain or improve workflow process.

 

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Workfront is a must. Workfront Admin experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Ability to work constructively under pressure, effectively in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and be able to organize tasks and time to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Retail marketing experience and/or Digital Account Management preferred
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or relevant work experience
• 2 to 3 years relevant working experience in Project Management Role. Experience with both waterfall and agile project management a plus, PMP certification not required.
